Chronic Disease Management Clinics - for asthma, diabetes and coronary heart disease.

Well Man/Woman Clinics - this is a double appointment with the Practice Nurse. If you haven't visited the practice within a three year period, you can ask for one of these appointments and the nurse will check you over.

Cervical Smears - this is a double appointment with the Practice Nurse or with the GP if you prefer. Normally performed three yearly.

Smoking Cessation - the Practice Nurse can assist anyone who wants to stop smoking.

Family Planning - the clinicians offer a range of services including emergency contraception and coil fitting.

Travel Advice and Immunisation - given by the Practice Nurse. Please collect a travel questionnaire with plenty of time before your proposed travel, in order for the nurse to properly assess your requirements.

In House Anti-Coagulation clinic - For all patients requiring monitoring of warfarin medication

Child immunisations - a wide range of advice for parents. Immunisations can be given by the practice nurses, with catch up programmes for children who have missed vaccinations for any reason.

New Patient screening - If you are a new patient it is recommended that you are seen by the nurses for an initial health check, please bring with you any medication you are currently taking. If you are not taking any medication then please make an appointment with our Healthcare Assistant Michelle Newcombe.

Men Only Clinic- provided by Dr Peter Gregory, every other Tuesday

Community Nursing - A home visiting service to patients physically unable to attend the surgery, including assistance with personal care, wound management, symptom control, support, advice and health education.

Ante-Natal Services - Friday mornings, provided by the GPs and Community Midwife.

Well Baby Clinic and Child Health Surveillance - run by the Health Visitor on Thursday mornings, GPs and Practice Nurses. Parents are invited to bring their children for routine immunisation

Toe Nail Cutting (Age Concern) - run by Senior Health Care Assistant, Susanna Walton on behalf of Age Concern. The service operates by appointment every other week. There is an initial fee for individual patients toe nail cutting equipment

Home Delivery Medication Service for the housebound and elderly - this service is a free service and is provided for surgery patients who are housebound or are over 65 years of age and have a genuine need for delivery of their medication.
